Fluoroplastic wire or high-temperature wire refers to a type of wire with an insulating layer made of fluoropolymer. The main insulating materials include polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), polyperfluoropropylene (FEP), etc. Among them, PTFE material can withstand up to 290-300℃, FEP material has a temperature resistance of 200℃, and PFA material has a continuous use temperature of 250℃. This type of wire has characteristics such as resistance to strong acids and alkalis, anti-oil contamination, and fire and flame retardancy.

It possesses characteristics such as non-stickiness, heat resistance, lubricity, water resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, etc. Therefore, fluoroplastic cables, compared with other high-temperature cables, have: excellent thermal stability and mechanical wear resistance and electrical insulation properties. They can resist strong acids and strong alkalis, are corrosion-resistant, fire-resistant and non-flammable, have a high oxygen index, produce little smoke and no halogen, do not age, are easy to strip, and have high strength and resistance to friction.
